Summary

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights regarding personal information Ergova holds about you. Use this page to submit a privacy request, or to manage optional public-website cookie preferences. These are separate controls. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.

How these choices work

Privacy rights requests (access, correction, deletion, and related requests) use the form below. Optional public-website cookie and analytics preferences are managed separately through Cookie Preferences. Depending on where you live and applicable law, some rights may not apply to you.

Identity verification

To protect personal information, we may need to verify your identity, your authority to act for another person, and/or your relationship to a relevant account or company before we process certain requests. Verification is proportional to the request and the sensitivity of the information involved. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Customer-controlled data

If your request concerns information an Ergova business customer holds about you (for example as that customer's homeowner or end customer), Ergova may process that data as a service provider / processor for the customer. In those cases we may direct you to the relevant Ergova customer, consistent with our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.

1. Submit a privacy request

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, portability, certain opt-outs, or an appeal. Completing this form does not mean every listed right applies to you.

3. Access / know

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to personal information we hold about you. Where required by applicable law, we will provide information in a portable or usable format.

4. Correction

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may request correction of inaccurate personal information. We will review and process valid correction requests as required by applicable law.

5. Deletion

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may request deletion of personal information, subject to exceptions. For example, we may retain information where required for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, accounting or tax records, dispute resolution, exercising or defending legal claims, or other legitimate retention permitted by applicable law. Retention details are described in our Privacy Policy and related terms.

6. Data portability

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have a right to receive a portable copy of certain personal information. Where required, we will provide information in a portable or usable format. We do not promise a particular export format or direct transfer to another provider unless required by law and supported by our processes.

7. Sale, sharing, and advertising

Ergova does not sell personal information. Ergova does not currently operate targeted advertising, behavioral advertising, advertising cookies, or retargeting pixels on the public website. Optional PostHog analytics (where consented) are product/website analytics, not advertising.

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may still have a right to opt out of "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising if those concepts apply to processing involving you. You may submit that request using the form above even if such processing is not currently occurring. Offering an opt-out mechanism does not mean Ergova currently sells or shares personal information for targeted advertising.

8. Appeals and regulators

In some jurisdictions, you may have the right to appeal our decision regarding a privacy request. You may submit an appeal through the form above or contact legal@ergova.co. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to contact an applicable privacy or data-protection authority.

9. Non-discrimination

Where required by applicable law, Ergova will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
