Where they apply
Cookie and browser-storage behavior can differ between Ergova's public website (including ergova.co) and the authenticated Ergova application used by signed-in customers.
The Cookie Preferences control on the public website governs optional analytics technologies used on that website. Changing those preferences does not automatically control product analytics inside the authenticated Ergova application.
Categories we use
Ergova does not currently use advertising, retargeting, or cross-site advertising pixels on the public website.
Strictly necessary
Necessary cookies and similar technologies support authentication, session management, security, remembering cookie or privacy preferences, and core application functionality. Examples include storing your website cookie preferences in browser storage and, when you sign in to Ergova, technologies set by our authentication provider to maintain your session.
These technologies may operate without optional cookie consent because they are needed to provide requested functionality, security, or account access, subject to applicable law. Disabling them in your browser may prevent parts of Ergova from working. They cannot be turned off through the public website's Cookie Preferences control.
Functional / application storage
The authenticated Ergova application may use browser storage such as localStorage or sessionStorage to support product functionality—for example preferences, drafts, filters, navigation state, and similar application features. This is application state, not advertising tracking.
Analytics
Ergova currently uses PostHog for analytics and product analytics where applicable.
Public website. Optional PostHog analytics on the public website are controlled by Cookie Preferences. Through the existing integration, PostHog does not initialize unless analytics consent has been granted. If you reject optional analytics, we do not initialize PostHog for that visit. If you later withdraw consent, we stop capture and clear optional PostHog identity and persistence using supported PostHog tools where available. Analytics information is typically tied to a device or usage identifier and should not be treated as anonymous.
Authenticated application. Inside the signed-in Ergova application, Ergova may use product analytics (including PostHog) to understand service usage, feature adoption, and performance, and to help improve the service. The public website's Cookie Preferences control does not currently govern that authenticated product analytics.

We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep the website and application functioning
- Remember and respect website cookie preferences
- Support authentication, sessions, and account security
- Support application preferences, drafts, and similar product features
- Where applicable, measure usage and improve Ergova's website and services
How you can manage preferences
On the public website, when you first visit you can accept optional analytics, reject optional analytics, or open Cookie Preferences to choose analytics on or off. You can change your choice later using the "Cookie Preferences" control in the site footer (also available from the cookie banner and our Privacy Choices page).
Your website preference is stored in your browser so we can respect it on later visits until you clear site data or we update our consent version and ask again. Cookie Preferences on the public website do not control authenticated-application product analytics.
Browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage. Blocking or deleting strictly necessary technologies may prevent portions of Ergova from functioning correctly. Browser settings are in addition to—not a replacement for—the public website's Cookie Preferences control for optional website analytics.
Providers
Browser-facing technologies currently relevant to this policy include Ergova (first-party preference storage and application functionality), PostHog (website analytics when consented; product analytics in the authenticated application), and our authentication provider (session technologies when you sign in).
Backend-only providers that do not set browser cookies for the public website are listed on our Subprocessors page rather than duplicated here.
